1st YCARE Zoom Panel Discussion on Race, Justice, & Incarceration
Following the screening of the movie 13th, join your neighbors in discussion with speakers who are engaged in direct action and advocacy. We look forward to them helping us better understand the criminal justice issues and determine how we, as individuals and a community, can move to action. Our panelists are:
Emma Bond, Legal Director, ACLU
Joseph Jackson, Director of the Maine Prison Advocacy Coalition and Advocacy Director for Maine Inside Out, a youth program that uses collaborative theater to build community, develop youth leadership and initiate dialogue for you in and out of Long Creek Youth Development Center.
